EXO is a South Korean boy group composed of 9 members, which are separated into subunits of K (for Korean promotions) and M (for Chinese promotions). They debuted on April 8, 2012 on the same day and time with the mini-album, MAMA .
On June 3, 2013, EXO combined and released their first full album, XOXO, in both Chinese and Korean. Both Kiss and Hug versions topped charts and achieved major success domestically and internationally. Through this studio album, there were over 1 million units sold, making them the first Korean artist in 12 years to surpass that milestone. As a result, EXO were awarded with many prestigious awards, such as triple crowns of music shows, the Album of Year at Mnet Asian Music Awards, Song of Year at Melon Music Awards.
Since then, they have released two mini-albums, Miracles in December and Overdose, which both have reached great success. On March 30, 2015, EXO released their second full-length album, EXODUS. Similarly, it achieved national and international recognition, including the best-selling album of 2015's first-quarter and topping Billboard's World Album Chart on the date of issue. Its follow-up, repackage album, Love Me Right, was released on June 3. EXO debuted officially in Japan on November 4, with the release of Love Me Right ~romantic universe~ and Drop That, with the EP climbing up the Oricon Charts and selling a total of 147 000 copies. Lightsaber was a promotional song for EXO's collaboration with the film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with it being featured in both Chinese and Korean on their second special winter album, Sing For You.

Opinions on Moorim School?
I've been watching Moorim School recently, and I actually really like the plot and the characters in the drama. (You know, if you can see through the mediocre filming/directing/everything other than the actors themselves even though some of them are also stiff).
I'm honestly really scared because I plan on finishing it buuuuuut since the episode cut, I feel like everything at the end will be rushed and I'll be extremely disappointed. But I like the budding romances as well as the mystery and the bromance (!!!)
I may be biased slightly because as a martial artist, I can literally watch anything with open-handed/staff fighting so… yeah.
What do you think about Moorim School? Will you continue watching it? ^^
Also, any good dramas lately?

I was watching Produce 101 and was thinking how raw trainees are skillwise despite the long training
Actually addicted to the show now. It's cool to see trainees from various companies compete to debut in a project girl group. But the thing that struck me the most is how green a lot of them are skill-wise even though some of them have been training for years or have even debuted. Heck, even some idols who are stars aren't that great at singing. So this got me thinking, can you actually train somebody to become a good singer or does a person have to have the god given talent? I honestly believe you can't make a bad singer into a good singer. You can only really help somebody who has the potential realize what they need to do to bring out their talent in singing.
So when a lot of trainees go under years of training, what exactly are they training? I would figure it would be quick to decipher when a person has potential or not. Or does a person going through puberty make things complicated. I'm guessing a lot of the training is in regards to dancing, stage presence, etc. Basically to make them an entertainer moreso than a singer. Still mind blowing to me how many years some of them invest only to look really lackluster.
Anyway, does anybody else here watch the show? Just a few things: Really odd to see contestants that have already debuted. Starship's trainees are kind of rough to look at. Somi from JYP is going to be a star regardless and the show is just to promote her even more. Jeon Soyeon from Cube is actually one of the better talents on the show. She really amazed me. She's a "rapper" but during the first day of practice, she was able to sing a verse of the theme song better than the other "singers" on the show. I think she's going to be a star in the making since she's not only cute but also has natural charisma.
