Am I the only one that gets kinda mad about groups/agencies that don't use their full potential when it comes to selling their music to international fans?
You know, stuff like:
* MBK Ent. not selling their music on iTunes at all (T-ARA, DIA)
* DSP Media only selling the japanese Version of Rainbows hit "A" on iTunes (wtf???)
* Songs being released on iTunes (or any other platform that is accessible without reading hangeul, idgaf about iTunes it's just kinda the biggest one around) days later than the MV
* Dance practice vids / special MV versions only beeing released on Melon or somewhere else, and only a crappy mirror on youtube, uploaded by a third party (some inofficially uploaded dance practice vids got millons of views -> adv $$)
* No download-links and/or links to other content below Youtube MVs etc.
* .... etc
* ( not group/agency related/kinda off topic, but one might add MelOn not having an english/international version, can't be that hard to translate a few website-labels)
I mean people always say how hard it is to get out of rookie debt etc. so it kind of makes me angry when I see how sloppy many groups are advertised. And I'm not talking about rocket science here, I know self-producing edm artists that are literally doing this alone and out of their bedroom. That's stuff you can do on your smartphone while on the toilet, once you are set up. Can't be that hard, so wtf is up with that? Aren't there enough successful artists to check out and see how it's done?
What do you guys think about it? Any particularly annoying examples?
