So there's no surprise that YG is the biggest troll in K-Pop, but the most trollish thing he's ever done is form the failures we know today as iKON. Some blatant reasons why they were a form of YG's late-night trolling:
1. Their name itself seems like YG thought to himself: "I need to come up with the most generic name ever, but it still needs to make me money, so I'll just add a K to icon and hope to YGesus Kardashian magic works."
2. YG knows duos don't do well internationally (Jinusean had a comeback this year?), so he decided to throw some filler randoms with his adopted children Bully.I and Booby.
3. You know you have a bad debut song when you can't remember what the hell you just listened to moments after finishing a song. Honestly though what was the name of their debut song? :S
4. Their repeated mediaplay. Stealing Godhwa and DBGodK's lightstick color to get some mediaplay is one thing, but YG, endorsing the boys to bully each other?

5. WINNER vs. iKON. LMAO. Dafuq is this comparison. Like seriously, you have 4 tonedeaf singers (that kid named Jinhwan who sounds like a whale giving birth) and one try-hard "rapper" compared with the likes of Mino (when will Bully.I tbh), Seungyoon (Junwho?) and Seunghoon. The WINNER is clear here.
At the end of the day, YG knows ya'll will fall for his joke of the century, which is why he keeps mediaplaying the likes of iKON, attempting to overthrow Pledis's supergroup Seventeen, who clearly actually have something called talent.
All YG really wanted to see with iKON (lmao, still can't over this name) was how much influence his label could have to get people to buy some garbage, so he grabbed the 7 most mediocre idol-wannabes he could find off the street and gave them reject Big Bang songs.
