The group was named "iKON", with 'k' replacing the 'c' from the actual word, in hopes that the boyband would become iconic for South Korea.
The group was formerly known as Team B, is a 7-membered boyband under YG Entertainment, currently set for debut in 2015. Making their appearance first in survival program WIN : Who Is Next and then again in MIX & MATCH which led to creating their final lineup.
2 Members of the group also participated in Mnet’s Rap competition series Show Me The Money in Season 3 where, member Bobby came out as the Victor.
