GDA 2016 officially made Taeyeon as 2015 most successful solo female singer

Taeyeon as the leader and main vocalist of SNSD a.k.a the official nation's girl group has achieved almost everything with her group; even S.K politics panel chose them as the most influental S.K girl group of all time, and this pretty much has been cemented back then when S.K government officially issued stamps the group, which on its release, the SNSD stamps were sold out less than 5 minutes.

But as a singer, even tho she has had a bunch of all-kill OSTs in the pasts, Taeyeon's standing as a female solo singer has just been cemented in 2016 with her latest Golden Disk Award awards (Digital bonsang and Best Female Artist). After previously also achieved MAMA 2015 Best female artist and SMA 2016 Bonsang, GDA 2016 just concludes Taeyeon's reputation as a solo singer.

Her solo debut achievments even shocked most of SONEs/ Taegangers, because they didn't think her debut would be this successful.
